You Are Hear is an electroacoustic performance set to film against the stunning backdrop of Canary Wharf’s East Wintergarden. It depicts a portrait of the Isle of Dogs and its residents, from its streets and historic dockyards to the commercial hub of Canary Wharf.
The project is part of Trinity College of Music’s Isle of Dogs Music programme and celebrates a three year partnership with Trinity Buoy Trust.
It is created and performed by staff and students from the College alongside school children, young rock bands and our 50+ chorus of older people from the Island, directed by sound artist Duncan Chapman.

With works by Schubert including Quintet in A major, “Trout” Quartettsatz, in C minor, Lieder: ‘Die Forelle’ ‘Auf dem Wasser zu singen’, Schubertiade is a unique and very different concert experience.
The event is a re-enactment of the musical and social evenings once held by Schubert. With period dress and set, chamber music and songs, poetry, wine and Schubert...(played by an actor!).
As well as celebrating the genius of Schubert and his incredible music, this event aims to bring composer, performer and audience closer together. Developing audience understanding and appreciation of the music of this great composer, and encouraging performances where communication is central, is the ethos behind this event.
TCM student pianists, singers and chamber ensembles, along with the Brodowski Quartet (Richard Carne Junior Fellows), perform a selection of Schubert’s music.
