International Student House (ISH)

As its name implies, this impressive hostel is primarily for students from overseas, though UK students can apply for places. ISH functions as both a residence and a club for overseas students, offering a range of facilities - bars, restaurant, fitness centre, cyber café etc. - throughout the year. It is one of the few institutions to offer a Christmas programme for students remaining in London during the December vacation, and it arranges a programme of excursions, visits, films and concerts all through the year. All non-UK Trinity Students are enrolled as associate members of International Student House, which offers them a useful base in Central London any time they wish. ISH is situated on the edge of Regent's Park, adjacent to Great Portland Street Station, giving a journey time of about 45 minutes to Greenwich.
