Big Dance 2012: Adult Performance Project

Big Dance 2012, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance will be offering a unique performance opportunity for adults with Wayne McGregor and Random Dance in Trafalgar Square.

Big Dance have commissioned world-renowned choreographer ,Wayne McGregor, to create a new large-scale, forty-minute dance piece for the stunning location of Trafalgar Square for 2012.

Adults can get involved in this unique performance opportunity through weekly classes at Trinity Laban this summer, led by a dance practitioner between April and July. Classes will develop contemporary dance skills and enhance creativity through choreographic processes in collaboration with the WM|RD and Big Dance teams.

The project will culminate in rehearsals at Greenwich Dance Agency, combining dance material with other dance groups from across the South East hub, before joining with the 4 other Big Dance hubs in late June and early July for the performance with more than 1000 people in Trafalgar Square on 14 July 2012.

It's an opportunity not to be missed!
