Without the training and guidance I received at Trinity Laban, I probably wouldn't be where I am now. My start on the Musical Theatre course gave me the drive and inspiration to take on a new artistic direction.

Biography

Benjamin Mahns-Mardy graduated in 2011 after completing an FPS in Musical Theatre. Since then he has toured with The Opera Group and performed with Opera Anywhere playing Pish Tush in the Mikado, Dan Cairo in Carmen and Samuel in The Pirates of Penzance. Benjamin has also performed a piece with a Sprechchor at LSO St. Luke’s. Since 2013 Benjamin has been studying Classical voice in Germany, and is now working on projects in Leipzig, Halle and other nearby cities.

 

Since graduating he has worked extensively in the genres of contemporary music, opera, song, performance and as a member of the award-winning Ensemble Nobiles with repertoire ranging from Gregorian to modern church and secular music. Theatre and concert engagements have allowed him to perform at the Händelfestspiele, the Opera Chemnitz, Landesbühnen Sachsen, Central Theatre Leipzig, as well as venues in the UK, the US, Europe and Scandinavia.
