Katarina Karnéus graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, (then Trinity College of Music), in 1992. In 1995 Katarina won the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition, and since then she has appeared throughout the world in opera, concerts and recitals. Opera engagements have included the Metropolitan Opera New York, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Glyndebourne Festival Opera and many more international venues. Katarina Karnéus has worked with many of the world's leading orchestras including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Cleveland Orchestra, the NDR Symphony, the Vienna Symphony, and the San Francisco Symphony. She has released several recordings both solo and with orchestra, all of which have received excellent reviews.
