A free day-long festival of dance activity for young men between 8 and 22 years old

Saturday 22 February 2014

Trinity Laban are delighted to announce that Pick Up the Pace Revisited will be replacing our annual Explode Boys Dance Day in 2014.

Pick Up The Pace Revisited is a free day-long festival of dance activity for young men between 8 and 22 years old on Saturday 22nd February 2014.  This event will mark the 10 year anniversary since Trinity Laban carried out a 3 year research project into boys dance called 'Pick Up The Pace' which was funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.  Pick Up The Pace Revisited will animate the Laban Building with dance workshops of different dance styles, site specific performances, opportunities to meet male dance professionals and find out about other dance activity for boys.

In the evening an performance platform featuring diverse and talented male youth dance groups will take place in The Laban Theatre.

Booking for these activities will open during Autumn 2013.
