What is the value of failure and should we celebrate it? As part of CoLab 2015, where artistic risk-taking is the focus, leading lights from the Arts discuss personal, professional and artistic failure.
By creating an intimate living room atmosphere where guests speak their minds, court controversy and dispute commonly held beliefs, the format pays homage to the 1980’s Channel 4 talk show After Dark, but has been updated through embracing contemporary forms of audience engagement in which viewers can contribute to the conversation through social media interaction.
The Living Room is hosted by Sally Taylor (Executive Director of The Cultural Capital Exchange) and guests include:
John Cumming OBE, Director of Serious (Producers of The London Jazz Festival)
Bretta Gerecke, Theatre Designer, Cirque du Soleil and Catalyst Theatre
Sacha Golob, Lecturer in Philosophy, King College London
Emma Redding, Head of Dance Science, Trinity Laban
Emma Stenning, Executive Director, Bristol Old Vic
Joe Townsend, Musician and Creative Producer of CoLab
