Please read the information below carefully for an outline of requirements and regulations during your period of study at Trinity Laban.
Procedures and Regulations
These procedures and regulations apply to all students enrolled at Trinity Laban.
All students enrolled shall additionally be subject to such regulations as Trinity Laban may determine for its students from time to time.
By enrolling, you undertake to observe the provisions of the Scheme of Management and the rules and regulations of Trinity Laban and the relevant programme.
The Trinity Laban Academic Board reserves absolutely the right to make such changes to these regulations as it may deem to be necessary.
It shall on no account and at no time be the responsibility of Trinity Laban if information sent to you at your known address fails to reach you and it is your responsiblity to inform Registry (dance) of any change of address.
Confirmation of Place and Enrolment
You are required to confirm acceptance of your place by payment of the registration fee, which will be deducted from your overall tuition fees. Non-compliance may result in the offer of your place on the programme being withdrawn.
Enrolment will take place in September.
You are required to give your term-time address at the time of enrolment and to notify Registry (dance) of any change to your term-time or home address.
If you wish to effect a change of status on the programme for which you are enrolled you must obtain approval from the relevant Programme Leaders.
Such changes must be completed by 31st October 2012. It will NOT be possible to change your status after this date. Scholarship/grant assisted/sponsored students are reminded that your funding may be affected if the awarding body's agreement has not been obtained.
Your programme may have a specific attendance requirement. Check your programme handbook for specific details. You will be directed to this during induction.
Attendance at lectures, seminars and tutorials is an integral part of a programme and is compulsory, except where otherwise stated, and must be in accordance with the specified programme regulations.
If you are absent because of illness you must inform Reception on the first day of your absence and on your return. Should your absence be longer than seven working days, a note from your GP must be sent to the Deputy Registrar, Mark Tyler. Scholarship/grant assisted or sponsored students should note that the Deputy Registrar may be required to inform the sponsor of such absences.
Programme Requirements and Regulations
You must satisfy the requirements and regulations specific to the programme for which you are registered as follows:
As approved by City University for BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance, Postgraduate Diploma Community Dance, MA Dance Performance, MA Choreography, MA Dance Theatre, MA Performance Design, MSc Dance Science, MA / MFA Creative Practice and Research Degrees.
As approved by the Trinity Laban Academic Board for all other programmes.
A student whom Trinity Laban has deemed to have completed a programme component shall, wherever the Programme Regulations make provision for an assessment, present him/herself at the time appointed by Trinity Laban. Failure to do so, or failure to submit work having so presented him/herself, shall normally be deemed failure in that assessment, unless there is some cause valid on production of acceptable evidence.

Discipline and conduct
As a student at Trinity Laban you are expected to conduct yourself with due regard to your legal responsibilities as an adult and to the good name and reputation of Trinity Laban, and in a manner consistent with the fulfillment of Trinity Laban's mission and in accordance with its regulations and policies. In particular, the use of or possession of illegal drugs within Trinity Laban premises is strictly prohibited and students in breach of this will face disciplinary action which may result in dismissal from Trinity Laban.
