Our Range of Therapies:
Acupuncture is a branch of traditional Chinese medicine
which uses disposable needles placed into classical acupuncture
points in order to stimulate change along the channels of energy
which flow around the body. Acupuncture is used to treat a wide
range of conditions and addresses both the presenting symptoms and
underlying cause of disease.

Aromatherapy massage uses essential oils from
plants to heal, alleviate pain and regulate mood. Aromatherapy
massage requires the blending of therapeutic essential oils in pure
vegetable oil like almond or grape seed, then direct application to
the body by way of massage is applied. Oils can be blended to help
Relax aching muscles, Ease cramps, Speed recovery of
sprains/strains , Ease spasms, Improve and support circulation,
Strengthen connective tissues and ligaments and Improve conditions
like tendonitis and rheumatism.

Bowen Therapy is a gentle form
of bodywork in which subtle moves performed over the muscles and
connective tissue send messages deep into the body, retrieving
cellular memory of a relaxed, balanced way of well-being. Bowen
moves are light, gentle and very precise. There is no forceful
manipulation. The practitioner is able to discern stress build-up
in the muscles and other soft tissue, enabling them to perform
specific Bowen moves to assist recovery and pain relief.

Craniosacral Therapy is a non-mechanical,
non-manipulative treatment. It is a subtle and profound healing
form which promotes the body's natural capacity for self-repair.
The work can address physical aches and pains, acute and chronic
illness, emotional and psychological disturbances or simply help
develop wellbeing, health and vitality. When, for example, the body
has had to cope with shock, long-term stress or illness, the
natural state that promotes healing can become compromised. It is
precisely this natural tendency which this holistic therapy helps
restore; not only physically but emotionally and spiritually.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is non-invasive and subtle, making
it suitable for babies, children, and the elderly as well as
adults. It is also suitable for people in fragile or acutely
painful conditions.

The Feldenkrais Method is a unique approach to
movement and learning, developed by Moshe Feldenkrais, an eminent
physicist and martial arts master. Through gentle and innovative
movement explorations, we tap the innate intelligence of the human
nervous system to create higher levels of function. We learn to
move with greater ease, power and efficiency and awaken our
abilities to sense, think and feel. The benefits of Feldenkrais
include relaxation and greater vitality, relief from tension and
muscular pain, improved posture, balance and coordination, easier
and fuller breath and help improve artistic and athletic
performance.

Sports Massage is an effective therapy for
releasing muscle tension and restoring balance to the body. Through
management, manipulation and rehabilitation of the soft tissues of
the body it can be used to aid a variety of ailments/injuries. If
received regularly it can help athletes prevent injuries, which
might otherwise be caused by overuse. Athletes will find a good
sports masseur is invaluable to help their sports injuries and
performance. Sports massage is not solely for athletes and sports
injuries, as it includes treatment of the muscles and soft tissues
of the body for anybody and a variety of conditions.

Physiotherapists treat a comprehensive range of
conditions using a wide spectrum of rehabilitation exercise
programmes to ease your pain and to restore normal function and
movement. Physiotherapists use treatment techniques such as
manipulation and massage, together with ultrasound and other forms
of electrotherapy, to effectively reduce pain, swelling and
inflammation.
Each client receives a thorough assessment which determines the
diagnosis of their condition. Individual rehabilitation protocols
are tailored to meet specific needs.

Podiatry (also known as chiropody); is the
diagnosis and treatment of diseases and other disorders of the
feet. Podiatrists are highly skilled health professionals who have
been trained to prevent, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate abnormal
conditions of the feet and lower limbs. They also prevent and
correct deformity, keep people mobile and active, relieve pain and
treat infections.

Reiki works by the practitioner laying her
hands on/or above the client in a series of hand positions with the
intention to heal. Reiki healer's heightened level of energy helps
dissolve blockages, such as headaches, stress, fatigue or weakened
immune systems, by inviting healing energy into the client.

Tui Na Massage is a branch of traditional
Chinese medicine which uses a wide range of massage techniques that
can be applied either powerfully or gently for subtle energy work.
Treatments are based on a full Chinese medical diagnosis,
incorporating examination of the tongue and pulse, which targets
both the roots and symptoms of disease to restore balance to the
body.
