Trinity Laban Employability Stronger Than Ever, Say Latest Government Statistics

A focus on intensive training, a constantly evolving curriculum
and strong professional development support for students during and
after their degrees has led to an almost perfect employability
rating of 98 percent for Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and
Dance in South East London.
The Higher Education Statistics
Agency (HESA) today released the results of the Destination of
Leavers in Higher Education survey, showing the proportion of UK
undergraduate students who were in employment or further study six
months after graduation for 2009-10.
Trinity Laban has been told that
97.6% of its first degree leavers were in employment or study six
months after graduation, which is significantly higher than the
benchmark of 89.2% set by HESA.
Principal, Professor Anthony
Bowne, welcomed the results: "For years, Trinity Laban has
consistently scored at the very top for its excellence in getting
graduate students into employment or further study, and is one of
just a handful of UK higher education institutions to do
so.
"This is testament to the fact
that our experimental and collaborative approach, with the many
performance and networking opportunities offered, as well as the
unrivalled professional training, gives Trinity Laban graduates the
best possible start to fulfilling and exciting musical and dance
careers."
