Broadway World West End Awards

Four Trinity Laban alumni have been nominated for the 2016 Broadway World UK West End Awards.

The nominees are:

Jack McCann - Best Actor in a New Production of a Musical – The Sins of Jack Saul

Sir Matthew Bourne OBE - Best Choreography of a New Production of a Play or Musical – Mary Poppins

James Darch - Understudy of the Year in Any Play or Musical (Male) – Wicked!

Jeff Wayne - Best Revival of a Musical – The War of the Worlds

Voting is now open and will continue to Dec 31 2016. The winners will be announced shortly after that with the final results being posted on the Broadway World website.

Jack McCann will next be appearing as Billy Crocker in Anything Goes at Upstairs at the Gatehouse, whilst James Darch continues his run of performances in London’s Wicked!. Jeff Wayne runs his own independent multimedia music company - Jeff Wayne Music - an industry leader with a strong reputation.

Choreographer Matthew Bourne’s latest production The Red Shoes will have its world premiere at Sadler's Wells Theatre from 6 Dec 2016 - 29 Jan 2017. The adaptation is set to a new score arranged by Terry Davies and played live by the New Adventures Orchestra.
