Christmas commences with the Chapel Choir

Beautiful Painted Hall

Director of Chapel Music Ralph Allwood MBE conducts the Old Royal Naval College (ORNC) Trinity Laban Chapel Choir at two Christmas concerts in the beautiful Chapel of St. Peter & St. Paul, Greenwich, on 11 and 16 December.

On Friday 11 December the ORNC hosts a memorable evening of Christmas music followed by a two-course supper across the courtyard in the stunning Painted Hall. The following week on Wednesday 16 December the ORNC Chapel Choir performs Handel’s Messiah, one of the most iconic choral works ever composed.

Trinity Laban offers places to 12 outstanding Choral scholars, and is the only conservatoire to have its own Chapel Choir. The Chapel of St. Peter & St. Paul is one of the finest examples of a neoclassical interior in Britain, designed by James Stuart and William Newton and completed in 1789.

These concerts form part of a busy Christmas programme at Trinity Laban and the ORNC. For further information about Chapel events please visit the ORNC website:
