Harp student featured on In Tune

Trinity Laban harpist Tamara Young played a series of beautiful pieces as the guest of presenter Sean Rafferty on BBC Radio 3's "In Tune" programme from 6pm on Thursday 30 August.

Tamara graduated with first class honours from Trinity Laban in 2010 and is currently in her final year of a Master's programme at Trinity Laban, studying with Gabriella Dall'Olio. Tamara is also a Joan Greenfield Fellowship Trust Scholar; and she is off to Israel in November to compete at the highly prestigious Israel Harp competition.

You can listen to the performance on the BBC iplayer here.

Tamara played the first two movements from CPE Bach's Sonata for Harp, a movement from the Britten Suite and Rhapsodie by Marcel Grandjany (timings - 1:39:23-1:50:23 and 2:36:37-2:55:15).
