Trinity Laban professor Michael Bochmann MBE recentlywent on an official visit to Mahidol University, Thailand for the Mahidol Chamber Music Days.
The Mahidol Chamber Music Days 2017 took place from 2 – 7 February, and was an intense week of chamber music activities, open to Mahidol students.
Central to the festival was Trinity Laban Professor Michael Bochmann; this was his second immensely successful visit to the University. Michael was involved in chamber music activities from the moment of his touchdown in Bangkok until his departure back to the UK one week later. Many of the students with whom Michael had worked during his first visit, welcomed him back with enthusiasm.
Student Teesin Puriwatthanapong said:
“The Mahidol Chamber Music Days is one of the best festivals I’ve experienced. I enjoyed playing and making music with my colleagues and teachers. We had a lot of fun and we developed enormously during the festival.”
Trinity Laban and Mahidol became partners in 2015. This is just one of a number of new international relationships developed by Trinity Laban, which provide exchange opportunities for students and staff.
