Trinity Laban’s RIBA Stirling award Laban Building, home to the Faculty of Dance, will play host to an international visit by the Musisches Gymnasium in Salzburg from 13-16 April 2015.
The students are taking part in an intensive four day training programme, designed to give school students a glimpse into life at a world leading specialist higher education institution. Students will be taught ballet and contemporary technique, take part in choreography and creative classes and watch current final year Trinity Laban dance students perform.
Short course programme manager, Alison Gee, says: “It is wonderful for Trinity Laban to connect with international schools, to share our world class facilities and the exciting work that we do here at Trinity Laban, as well as learning more about international dance education from the different schools taking part.”
Trinity Laban’s undergraduate programme prepares students for a career in contemporary dance by developing technical, creative and performance skills needed to become an individual and versatile artist. Trinity Laban also has one of the highest employability figures out of all UK higher education institutions - almost 99 % of our first degree leavers in 2012-13 were in employment or further study six months after graduation.
