Cello alumnus Sarah Oliver has been selected as 4th cello in the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, and the London Cello Society visits for a day of activities at King Charles Court on 17 April.
Trinity Laban’s leading string department enjoys another alumni success story as cellist Sarah Oliver is appointed to one of the UK’s top orchestras, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. She will be taking up her position in May.
The string department also welcomes a host of world-class cellists including Leonid Gorokhov, William Bruce, Ivan Hussey (Celloman), Pavlos Carvalho and Sebastian Comberti, in addition to current tutors David Kenedy, Joely Koos for the London Cello Society teaching day on Sunday 17 April. This will comprise a full day of lessons, workshops and ensemble classes.
Sarah Oliver completed her studies at Trinity Laban in 2013, and is among many other successful string graduates including Samuel Burstin, Laura Moody, Lana Trotovsek and the Carducci Quartet.
