Summer jazz festival attracts big names and rising stars

Some of the UK’s up and coming names in jazz will perform in the Inside Out Jazz Festival, Trinity Laban’s annual summer jazz festival, from 22-25 June 2015.

The Inside Out Jazz Festival includes workshops and interviews with celebrated artists such as bassist Dave Green and drummer John Marshall, as well as a day of performances dedicated to the works of jazz giant Thelonious Monk, and an evening exploring Cuban music.

Other attractions include a gala launch event at the Vortex, featuring the Trinity Laban Jazz Choir – led by acclaimed jazz choral director Pete Churchill – and the Trinity Laban Big Band, directed by award-winning jazz flautist Gareth Lockrane.

For full details and to book tickets, visit the Trinity Laban website.

Trinity Laban’s world-leading Jazz Department is a vibrant community of teachers of international repute and talented students, intent upon developing their music with skill and individuality. Our jazz students are much in demand, and regularly invited to perform at leading venues and festivals in London and beyond.
