In 2013, twelve of the best young dancers from across the world will perform a mixed bill of choreography devised by acclaimed choreographersLauri Stallings( gloATL, American Ballet Theater, Hubbard St, DanceLINES, Julliard and Hong Kong International Dance Festival),Tom Dale(Dance Digital Associate Artist and Associate Choreographer at Deda, British Council Edinburgh showcase 2011, Ruhrfestpiele Festival, 2Faced Dance) andAugusto Corrieri(What Festival Siobhan Davies Dance Studios, La Casa Encendida, TanzQuartier and the Whitstable Biennale).
This year's talented company includes: Rosie Gregory, Daisy Farris, Holly Preece, Silvia Rossi, Sarah Golding, Glynn Egerton-Read, Laura Ann Heywood, Rebecca Hall, Robert Keates, Sarah Lee, Hannah Cameron and Brian Solomon.
Every spring, Transitions Dance Company tours new work to national and international venues.
Artistic director David Waring said: "An innovation as the first Conservatoire dance company, Transitions was originally created to help emerging artists bridge formal training and their entry to the professional world. It now also includes professional dance artists who are redefining and developing their practice. The Company has gained an international reputation for the technical excellence of its dancers and the originality of the work it performs.

Founded by Bonnie Bird in 1982, Transitions Dance Company aims to bridge the gap between training and a professional performance career for graduate dancers. The company is supported artistically and administratively by Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and company members complete the MA Dance Performance programme as part of their year's training. The company is also generously supported by the Leverhulme Trust. Led by Artistic Director David Waring, Transitions is based at the stunning RIBA Stirling prize-winning Laban building in Deptford, South East London.
Distinguished Transitions alumni include Brooke Smiley, Michael Clark Company (graduated 2007), Leila McMillan (graduated 2005), Tom Dale (graduated 1999), Luca Silvestrini (graduated 1997) and Matthew Bourne (graduated 1986).
