Transitions dancers announced

Trinity Laban is pleased to announce its Transitions Dance Company members for 2015-2016.

Every spring, Transitions Dance Company tours new work to national and international venues. This coming year, twelve of the best young dancers from across the world will perform a triple bill of brand new works devised by acclaimed choreographers Theo Clinkard, Ederson Rodrigues Xavier, and Dog Kennel Hill Project.

Led by Artistic Director David Waring, this year's talented company includes: Caitlin Murray (pictured, left), Dalton Alexander, Finetta Mikolajska, Kate Haughton, Ingvild Marstein Olsen, Rachel Tack (pictured, centre), Samuel Pimm, Vera Stierli, Olivia Edginton, Katherine Whale, Eilidh Brown and Fergus Alexander (pictured, right).

Transitions Dance Company was founded by Bonnie Bird in 1982, and was the first company of its kind anywhere in the world. The company aims to bridge the gap between training and a professional performance career for graduate dancers, as company members gain experience of life in a dance company while completing their MA Dance Performance.

Distinguished Transitions alumni include Emma Gladstone (Artistic Director and Chief Executive of Dance Umbrella), Luca Silvestrini (Protein Dance) and Matthew Bourne OBE (New Adventures).

Dates for the 2016 tour will be announced shortly. To meet and discover more about the dancers, visit the Transitions Dance Company website
