Trinity Laban Alumni Perform With the Balletboyz
Two former Trinity Laban students have been chosen to perform
with the Balletboyz in their latest show.
BA Hons graduate Leon Poulton and former Transitions Dance
Company member Taylor Benjamin were hand-picked at an open audition
to feature in Balletboyz new show for 2011, The
Talent, which is currently touring the UK and due
to feature at London's Sadler's Wells Theatre at the end of
March.
The show is a mixed bill of three pieces designed to show off
the talents of 9 exceptional young male dancers at the start of
their careers. It includes Paul Roberts' Alpha, a
reworking of Russell Maliphant's Torsion and a
specially-commissioned piece from Czech choreographer Jarek
Cemerek.
