David Edmonds CBE has joined Trinity Laban's Board of Governors.
David has had a distinguished career in both the private sector and in government and public services. He is currently Chairman of the Governing Boards of Kingston University, NHS Shared Business Services Ltd, Swanton Care and Community Ltd, and E20 LLP; and a Board Member of the London Legacy Development Corporation and Barchester Healthcare.
David is also an enthusiastic supporter of the Royal Opera House, attending every production in each cycle, and has seen eight Ring Cycles in various parts of the world.
Trinity Laban's Board of Governors is made up of independent and staff and student governors, all of whom are Trustees of the Conservatoire. The Chair is Lord Lipsey, a Labour peer with a lifelong interest in music. Lord Lipsey is also chair of the All Party Parliamentary Classical Music Group, which arranges presentations to and discussions with parliamentarians on matters of concern to musicians and the music industry.
