Trinity Laban conducting in Croatia

Jonathan Tilbrook

Trinity Laban Head of Performance Strategy (Music), Jonathan Tilbrook, conducted a concert recently with the Croatian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra in Lisinski Conceert Hall in Zagreb.

In the final concert in the orchestra's 2013-14 Master Series, they played Respighi's Fountains of Rome; Baranovic's Sinfonietta; Carniva lby Dvorak; and Anver Dorman's Spices, Perfumes, Toxins.

The concert was broadcast live on radio and will feature on TV in the coming weeks. Jonathan will then return in the autumn to record one of the works performed.

Jonathan has worked in Zagreb over the last five years, conducting at the Croatian National Theatre and for the Zagreb Youth Orchestra.

"This was a very exciting opportunity for me, to work with such a highly accomplished radio orchestra," he said. "Both the Dorman concerto for two percussionists and the Sinfonietta were new to the orchestra but we had a great connection and achieved a thrilling concert as a result.
