Trinity Laban dancers make performance debut

BA1 Peformance Project

Trinity Laban’s talented first year students present their first major performance at the Laban Theatre on 14 and 15 June 2016, offering audiences their first glimpse of some of the dance stars of the future.

The programme for their BA1 Performance Project comprises four ensemble performances created by choreographers Lizzi Kew Ross, Zoi Dimitriou, Naomi Lefebvre Sell and Sonia Rafferty, of whom the latter three are Trinity Laban alumni themselves. The performers are all in their first year of study on Trinity Laban’s internationally renowned BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance degree.

All four choreographers lecture at Trinity Laban, alongside involvement in countless other choreographic and research projects. Zoi, for example, presented her dance-digital collaboration The Chapter House at the Laban Theatre earlier this year.

The Trinity Laban community has been devastated by the shooting in Orlando on Friday evening.

Staff and students involved in the BA1 Performance Project in the Laban Theatre on Tuesday 15 June are dedicating their performance to the victims of this terrible homophobic attack.
