Trinity Laban launches 2015 International Masterclass Series

Carducci Quartet

Trinity Laban has unveiled its popular International Masterclass Series for Jan-March 2015, with a host of international stars taking time out of their busy schedules to work with Trinity Laban music students and provide special one to one tuition.

Celebrated Czech violist Jiří Žigmund, vocalist James Gilchrist and one of the world’s leading experts on ergonomic keyboards, Carole Leone, are just some of the artists visiting Trinity Laban’s Faculty of Music in the New Year.

Trinity Laban’s Director of Music, Dr Claire Mera-Nelson, said that the benefits for students in engaging with musicians of such international calibre are enduring: “Masterclasses such as these give our students unprecedented access to some of the world’s finest musicians. They listen to students playing, providing unstinting advice and musical insights, and also often perform themselves – providing an unparalleled learning experience for everyone present.”
