This summer, the Laban Building is the setting for the third series of one of Channel 4’s most popular programmes.

“Child Genius” follows highly gifted children aged 7 to 14 as they take part in a competition, run in association with British Mensa, to win the coveted title of child genius. This year’s competition takes place in the Laban Theatre, and sees the children answer general knowledge questions and undertake a series of mental challenges.

The series is broadcast on Channel 4 on Tuesdays at 9pm. You can watch the first episode on demand on the Channel 4 website.

When it’s not needed for teaching and learning, the award-winning Laban Building is in great demand for commercial hires from film companies and businesses, generating income that is reinvested in Trinity Laban’s educational programmes. For more information visit the Trinity Laban website.
