Daisy Brown, an MMus student in Trinity Laban's Vocal Department, has been wowing the critics in her performance as Pamina/Constanze in The Merry Opera Company's production of The Magic Flute.
Daisy and other cast members play characters from the opera, as well as the historical characters of Mozart's final months.
The Times said "Pamina/Constanze is outstandingly sung and acted by Daisy Brown - whom I long to hear again."
And the New Statesman said "…it's worth holding out for Daisy Brown's Pamina who has the kind of winsome innocence every fairytale princesss should have. Her "Ach, ich fühl's" in particular is beautifully controlled and judged."
Daisy said: "Pamina was such a joy to sing and I really loved the Director Kit Hesketh-Harvey's 'play within a play' approach to the production.
"The Merry Opera is a wonderful company. They really do their best to support young singers and give them opportunities that might otherwise take them years to find. The whole cast was creative and inspiring - I learnt a lot from all of them, and I can't wait for the tour."
The Magic Flute is now on tour nationwide until 2 November.
