Pilates Teacher Training Programme

Train in the principles of Pilates, covering both mat and machine work, and all aspects of the Pilates method including remedial application. You will find the programme particularly suitable if you wish to work with dancers.
Programme Content
On the programme, you will learn about: the principles of the
Pilates method and its repertoire, the use of Pilates equipment,
methods of adaptation in response to the rehabilitation of injuries
and musculo-skeletal imbalances, somatic theory, anatomy and
physiology, movement knowledge and analysis, methods of
rehabilitating injury, referral and screening, learning and
teaching methodologies, business management skills, first aid
training, ante-natal and post-natal exercise and working with the
elderly. You will also be expected to spend time each week engaged
in independent research and self-practice in the studio.
