Dance Programmes

Trinity Laban offers a variety of development programmes including dance training relevant to your needs and experience. Our One Year Programmes (OYPs) are usually taken after the completion of initial training or by mature students wishing to enter higher education or continue their professional development. We offer four separate programmes each with a different purpose or emphasis of study.

"The one year programmes offer the opportunity to invest in specific areas of practice to support professional, personal or artistic ambitions, along with the flexibility to explore and discover new dance possibilities. Students come from a wide range of backgrounds and reasons for coming on the programmes are varied. This rich mix of individuals working alongside one another, contributing different skills and expertise, further enriches the creative and collaborative possibilities offered through the programmes."

Programmes on offer

Diploma in Dance Studies (DDS)
Independent Study Programme (ISP)
Postgraduate Diploma Community Dance (PDCD)
Study Year Abroad (SYA)

All four programmes are created from a common range of subject areas and all OYP students are taught together, however each programme has a different structure, and students may take different combinations of subjects according to which programme they are following.
