Music Programmes

One Year Programmes and Other Learning Opportunities

Build on your musical interests, skills and experience, discover more about music, and open up possibilities for your personal, artistic and professional development.

As part of a diverse community of students from a wide variety of backgrounds and training, you can tailor your programme to suit your needs, interests and experience, and work towards your individual learning, training or professional goals. Your learning opportunities will be based around a core modular structure, available at all levels from pre-undergraduate to postgraduate depending on your individual circumstances.

Completion of a Flexible Programme does not lead to the award of a specific qualification, however many of the modules available carry transferable Higher Education level credits and on successful completion of your period of study you will receive a detailed transcript outlining the learning you have completed. You will also be supported in undertaking one of the music performance or composition diploma qualifications offered by Trinity College London, the International Examinations Board

In addition to enabling you to study within the vibrant surroundings of our internationally recognised conservatoire environment, our Flexible Programmes of Study offer you the opportunity to explore and experience London's vibrant music scene.  For international students who want to experience studying and living in London, specialist English language classes are available as an alternative to academic studies (for students whose first language is not English).

Visit the Independent Study Programme page for further information including a list of current study options, classes and modules.
