Pick Up The Pace Revisited is a free day-long festival of dance activity for young men between 8 and 22 years old on Saturday 22 February 2014. This event will mark the 10-year anniversary since we carried out a 3-year research project into boys' dance called Pick Up The Pace, which was funded by the Paul Hamlyn FoundationPick Up The Pace Revisited will animate the Laban Building with dance workshops of different dance styles, site specific performances, and opportunities to meet male dance professionals and find out about other dance activity for boys.

See the schedule for the day's workshops and book your place for the day.  PLEASE NOTE ONLY SOME PLACES ARE AVAILABLE TO BOOK - DROP IN PLACES AVAILABLE ON THE DAY!

In the evening a performance platform featuring diverse and talented male youth dance groups will take place in the Laban Theatre.

Glen Murphy, one of our original Pick Up The Pace participants, will perform with Ashley Glazebrook as streetdance and comedy duo Twist and Pulse, both during the day and at the evening performance platform.
