Our Youth Dance Company is an auditioned company of enthusiastic and talented young dancers aged 13 to 18 years. The company collaborates throughout the year to devise, create and perform new pieces of work under the direction of their Artistic Director, Chloe Stone.
Each year, the company becomes involved in a variety of projects such as the Olympic Torch Ceremony at the Southbank, Co Motion Inclusive Youth Dance Platform, U.Dance National Platform and the Blackheath Halls Opera. We also work with professional filmmakers, choreographers and companies such as Company Wayne McGregor, MIKS Dance Theatre, Henri Oguike and Candoco Dance Company.Trinity Laban Youth Dance Company performs throughout the year in London and around the UK, and has the opportunity to collaborate with other youth dance companies from across the country.
Previous members have gone on to train at various universities, conservatoires and colleges such as London Contemporary Dance School, Bird College, Dartington Hall and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

We are looking for motivated and committed dancers aged 13 to 18, with an interest in Contemporary dance to audition for the Trinity Laban Youth Dance Company. You must be ready to commit to a full academic year of dance training. Prior dance experience is necessary; however, don’t be afraid to audition even with minimum or little experience, as we are looking for natural flair and creativity. TLYDC's weekly classes and rehearsals take place every Tuesday evening 18.00h to 20.00h during term time, with various high-profile performances throughout the year.

- A technique class with current members led by Artistic Director, Chloe Stone
- An opportunity to learn current repertoire
- A Q&A session with current company members and the Artistic Director (parents and carers are invited to this too)
