About

Trinity Laban Learning & Participation promotes participation in music and dance amongst people of all ages and abilities. We extend access to high quality music and dance activities, facilitate progression in music and dance education by young people and support excellence in the wider sector.
Our public programmes range from early years workshops for
parents and children to intensive training for talented young
people. Extensive outreach initiatives engage with some of London's
most socially excluded communities and include partnerships with
schools, local authorities, community groups and regeneration
agencies. We contribute to the cultural life of South East London,
support social and economic wellbeing and healthy living by sharing
Trinity Laban's expertise and forming partnerships with others. We
act as a resource for local people and partners while driving the
development of new opportunities to experience music and dance
participation.
We achieve this through a long term commitment to our local
community in South East London and the Thames Gateway, which allows
us to develop expertise of national and international significance.
We influence policy and contribute to the development of
infrastructure and networks that support quality and access within
music and dance provision.
Trinity Laban Learning & Participation has an important,
symbiotic relationship with our Trinity Laban's role in training
music and dance artists. Our programmes for young people aim to
widen participation in music and dance education, facilitate
progression and improve access to Higher Education. We offer a
range of professional development and training opportunities to
arts practitioners, teachers, community and youth workers. and HE
students assist in the delivery of projects as part of their
training.
We aim to inspire new generations of music and dance practitioners
to develop fulfilling careers with a passion for engaging new
audiences and sharing their art form with others.
