Over 200 children, young people and adults took to the stage in Charlton Park on 10th July to perform as the finale of the Charlton Great Get Together. Spring term 2010

Musical Diaries

2010 marks the 350th anniversary of local author and amateur musician, Samuel Pepys's, diary. In recognition, Trinity Laban staff and students worked with young people from Greenwich Schools to create their own 'musical' diaries recording aspects of their everyday lives. The young people from Haimo, Gordonbrock and Greenacres Primary Schools each took part in 6 cross curricular creative workshops with experienced animateurs Tim Palmer, Duncan Macleod and Kerry Andrew culminating in a sharing performance at Blackheath Halls.

ALLSORTS

Allsorts was the first collaboration of its kind between Trinity Laban's Education & Community departments and Junior Trinity. In an exciting and innovative four night showcase event at the Bonnie Bird Theatre, all three departments presented selections of their work from the year. One of Raising the Roof's offerings was 'Pour, Roll, Twist, ENJOY'- a music and movement piece inspired by the manufacturing process of sweets, created and performed by young people with special needs from Greenwich Toy Library. This project was led by animateur Julian West and dance practitioner Eleanor Thompson.

Autumn term 2009
