Accommodation

London is a great place for students to live and finding your accommodation should be a positive experience even if it may at first seem rather daunting. Student Services will guide you with information and advice so that you make the right choices about your housing whilst studying at Trinity Laban, whether you are from the UK or overseas.
What are the Options?
Before you start looking you should decide what type of
accommodation you would like to live in:
- Halls of Residence
- Private accommodation: Shared student houses/flats
Halls of Residence
The McMillan Student Village, a privately run Halls of
Residence, is located within easy walking distance of Trinity
Laban and close to tube, train and bus links. It's a wonderful
environment in which to study, relax and make new friends.
Beautifully designed with contemporary furnishing, all rooms are
ensuite and offer digital TV and broadband internet access.
Security features include a 24 hour manned reception.
Rooms range from single study bedrooms organised in cluster
flats with a shared kitchen/diner to single and twin studio
apartments with their own mini kitchen.
All applicants who are offered a place at Trinity Laban will
automatically receive an application pack for accommodation in the
McMillan Student Village.

Shared Student Houses/Flats
Renting a shared house or flat is the best option if you want to
live independently with friends or other like-minded
students. Choosing private accommodation gives you
the freedom to choose where you live, what facilties are
important to you and how you want to spend your budget.

accommodation within the local area please contact Gemma Feeley at

Rented Accommodation section for further information.
Overseas Students
If you are not used to the UK housing system, finding your own
accommodation can seem especially overwhelming. Do not let this put
you off making the decision to study abroad. With the right
information and guidance you have all the tools you need for
finding suitable housing.
If you are joining us from overseas, we advise you to make
arrangements for accommodation as soon as you can. Students
generally have problems finding somewhere suitable if they leave it
until the summer holiday period. In practice, most overseas
students opt to live in the McMillan Student Village, at least in
their first year. Overseas students seeking private rented
accommodation may need to provide details of a guarantor who lives
in the UK, in addition to personal references.
The Private Rented
Accommodation section of our website gives you a great deal of
information about private renting.
Please note that while Trinity Laban can help you find
accommodation, we cannot make arrangements on your behalf - for
legal reasons, you will need to do this yourself.
