International Students: Working in the UK
As an overseas student, you may wish to combine your studies at Trinity Laban with part-time work. This section gives you essential information about working in the UK as a student and directs you to further sources of help and information.
While you are registered as a student at Trinity Laban you must
be able to show that you are able to study and live in the UK
without working, but you may take part-time or holiday
work.
The following table provides answers to some of
the questions you may have at this early stage about whether
you can work during your studies. Our Careers Coordinator,
Juliet Ingram, is available over the summer to answer your
questions. Email: J.ingram@trinitylaban.ac.uk
Please be aware that, even if you do have permission to work
part-time during your studies at Trinity Laban, there may be
restrictions on the type of work and the number of hours you
can work. For more information please go to the relevant page within the
career support section of this website. The
Careers Coordinator will also be very happy to help you; you can
arrange a face-to-face meeting once you have started your
programme of studies at Trinity Laban or ask a question via email.
Please refer to the following table for an
overview of what you need to know if you are intending to undertake
any part-time or holiday work while you are studying with
us.
