Registration
This section provides information on registering with us on your arrival in the UK and what to expect at Induction Week.
Registration and Induction take place during the week beginning
6 September 2010. Make sure you arrange to arrive in the UK in time
to be with us from that date onwards. Please note that attendance
at Induction Week is compulsory as it is the time when you register
and are given all the information that is necessary for you to
settle in your chosen course. You will not be given your timetable
and details of academic classes and other lessons until you have
registered and paid any fees you are liable for.
Confirming audition
If you have sent a recorded audition performance you will need
to confirm your audition by playing to the Head of Studies
during Induction Week. You do not need to play the same music as on
the audition tape, but it must be of an equivalent standard.
During Induction Week there will also be auditions for places in
ensembles and forthcoming performances.
English language
English Language tuition is available to all students. If
English is not your first language, you will be assessed as to the
level and amount of tuition you need. See our section on English
language support for more information.
Induction Week
In addition to the above activities and your course and faculty
specific meetings, you should attend all other meetings arranged
for international students. These meetings will give you:
- an opportunity for you to meet Trinity Laban staff and
representatives from the Student Union
- a range of information that you will need during your stay in
Greenwich
You will also meet our International Adviser (Patricia Holmes)
and the International Students' Representative of the Students'
Union .
