Life Outside Studies

London & Greenwich

View from halls of residence

London is the UK’s most diverse and multicultural city, with 300 languages spoken among its 7 million residents. The inclusive environment of Trinity Laban provides students with a sense of community within a cosmopolitan city. With twice as many museums as Paris or New York, 120 historic buildings, 150 theatres, 8,000 acres of parkland, 37,000 listed buildings and four world heritage sites you will never be short of things to see and do. With many places offering free and reduced access for students, there is no excuse not to embrace life in the city.

Greenwich is a lively, creative centre in south London. As the name suggests it boasts many green spaces, beautiful gardens and parks, including the majestic Greenwich Royal Park. Renowned in the world for its architecture and treasures including the Old Royal Naval College, the National Maritime Museum and the Queen's House, Greenwich is a place where historical attractions meet contemporary architecture, including the Millennium Dome or the Thames Barrier.

As a student at Trinity Laban you will benefit from the cultural, creative hub of Greenwich, Deptford and the surrounding region. Local accommodation is relatively inexpensive and the bustle and vibrancy of central London is only minutes away by public transport. The area offers numerous places to eat, shops, cultural venues, arts and performance organisations, leisure facilities, pubs and nightclubs.
