…the great thing about being London is that there is a great concert going on every day or night. That's where I want to be!

A big highlight was performing with my current world music project Op Sa! Balkan Band at Blackheath Halls to finish the Colab fortnight. This was our first performance as a group, and it went down so well that it gave the band the incentive to continue this passionate project. I love the fact that any project can come to fruition. All you need is ready materials, a vision, and some great musicians in one room for a week.

The international community is by far my favourite thing about Trinity Laban. Coming from Cyprus where I went to a diverse international school, I wasn’t sure what to expect coming to London to study music. Trinity Laban in some cases beats what I had in Cyprus as I have friends and colleagues from all over the world, who have also brought their culture and music with them. And the great thing about being London is that there is a great concert going on every day or night. That’s where I want to be!

The guitar department in Trinity Laban is special to me, not only because of Graham Devine’s teaching, but his ability to create a friendly community out of the guitarists, where the group lessons are something to look forward to both educationally and socially. He has been very helpful in giving the guitarists many opportunities to perform both in Trinity Laban, Greenwich and beyond, and for this I am very grateful.
