Here at Trinity Laban, we place considerable emphasis on the welfare and development of our students. We endeavour to ensure that you have all the support you require during your time here, whatever your individual needs.

 

Academic Support and Guidance - Dance Faculty

Students on the undergraduate programme and the Professional Diploma programmes are allocated an Academic Tutor who is responsible for monitoring your progress throughout the duration of your studies and will offer help with issues related to your individual learning experience. For Postgraduate Diploma and Postgraduate students this support is provided by the relevant Programme Leader.

Initial and on-going academic and practical support is available from the Learning and Teaching Coordinator who will offer additional learning support and liaise with other members of the academic and academic-related staff on your behalf.

Academic Support and Guidance - Music Faculty

The Programme Leader or Programme Coordinator is responsible for monitoring your progress.  Students on all programmes are allocated an Academic Advisor (normally the Programme Leader/Coordinator) who is responsible  for monitoring your progress throughout the duration of your studies and will offer help with issues related to your individual learning experience. Initial and on-going academic and practical support is available from the Learning Support Tutor via Student Services who will offer additional learning support and liaise with other members of the academic and academic-related staff on your behalf.

Careers Support

Our courses all include extensive preparation for a professional career in the performing arts. In addition, our Careers Co-ordinator organises talks and events, and is available for individual consultations.

Disability Support

We have considerable experience in supporting students with a range of disabilities including sensory impairment, neuro-diverse conditions, mental health problems, long-term illness and mobility difficulties. We welcome applications from all who meet the entrance requirements.

Our libraries have extensive online resources and internet guides on a range of subjects.

We have experienced counselling and chaplaincy staff for those students who need professional help during a difficult period.

Pastoral Support

In addition, your Personal Tutor (Dance Faculty) and Student Adviser (Music Faculty) is available to support and offer guidance to you on personal development, emotional issues, health and well being. Students can sign up for pastoral care and support with personal issues as well as providing a link to liaise with academic staff if needed.

Student Health

Our health suite at the Laban building is open to all students and offers a range of services and complementary therapies, including physiotherapy, osteopathy, homeopathy and massage.

Our International Adviser provides individual support and advice throughout the application process and your time at Trinity. Special events for international students are held during Induction Week.

Tuition Fee Changes in 2012
