Eamonn Mulhall trained at the RCM and National Opera Studio.
His operatic engagements include Ramiro in La cenerentola and Narraboth in Salomé (Wexford Festival), a staged Messiah, Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia and After Dido (ENO), the world premiere of James MacMillan’s Clemency (ROH2 Covent Garden; Scottish Opera), title role in Dorian Gray (Slovak National Theatre), Prince Saphir in Offenbach’s Barbe-bleue (Grange Park Opera), Jaquino in Fidelio, Soldier in Der Kaiser von Atlantis and Jakob Schmidt in The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny (OTC, Dublin), as well as Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni (Orchestra of Saint Cecilia), Massimo in Ezio (London Handel Festival) under such directors as Katie Mitchell OBE, Stephen Langridge, Nicola Raab, Annilese Miskimmon, John Fulljames and Deborah Warner CBE.
In concert, he has appeared frequently in his native Ireland with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and National Symphony Orchestra as well as with the CBSO, the Ulster Orchestra, the Irish Chamber Orchestra, the Royal Liverpool PO and the Irish Baroque Orchestra. This season he will sing at the Bach Festival in Lausanne, Switzerland and at the Prague International Spring Festival, Czech Republic.
