Andrea Spain is an arts producer specialising in collaborative, site specific and outdoor performance. Drawing on commercial marketing experience, she produces arts projects that take creative approaches to developing and engaging new audiences and has received funding from Arts Council England, London Development Agency, Youth Music, HEFCE and HSBC Bank.Andrea started her career as a composer and bass clarinettist. Freelance work has included management and production of national tours for Garden Opera and Mbawula, artist management, marketing and fundraising consultancy. She produced the first opera performance in the Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh (1999) and has managed performances at Greenwich & Docklands International Festival (2000) and South African Freedom Day in Trafalgar Square (2002). She established Trinity Laban's flagship regeneration programme, Isle of Dogs Music, with Paul Bartholomew and in 2005 launched the Raising the Roof Schools programme.

BMus from Goldsmith's College, Diploma in Arts Management, PG Certificate in Teaching & Learning for Higher Education in 2004.
