The philanthropic support of alumni, friends and supporters, is a vital factor in maintaining our excellent international status. We hope you will consider joining our community of students, artists, researchers, teachers and friends, by making a donation towards our work.
You will have opportunities to share in our work and successes, and have access to an extensive performance programme where our students and guest artists perform.
All donors are invited to attend our annual Gold Medal Showcase Reception at King's Place and are acknowledged in programmes and other publications on a regular basis.
Please consider supporting us by
- sending a cheque made out to Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance to the Development Department at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, King Charles Court, Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, London SE10 9JF
- making a one-off donation online
- setting up a standing order using our Annual Fund form
If you are a UK taxpayer, the donations you make to Trinity Laban will be eligible for Gift Aid. In other words, we are able to claim back from HM Revenue and Customs the basic rate of tax (20%) which has already been deducted from your pay. This means that for every £10 you give, we receive an extra £2.50 from HM Revenue and Customs at no extra cost to ou.
If you are a UK higher rate tax payer, you can claim tax relief through your tax return of 20%, the difference between the standard rate of income tax (20%) and the higher rate (40%). Click here to download a Gift Aid declaration for your donations to Trinity Laban.
Gifts of shares
Tax relief can be gained on most shares given to charity. So, if you are a higher rate taxpayer and donate £1,000 worth of your shares to charity, your tax bill will be reduced by £400. In addition, the transaction escapes a Capital Gains Tax charge.
