How Movement Works is led by dance specialists in Choreological Studies from Trinity Laban’s faculty who share a wealth of experience working with Rudolf Laban's principles.
Olga Masleinnikova is a choreologist, dance-theatre-movement director, artist coach and teacher. Her practice combines Laban's contemporary developments for performing arts - discipline called Choreology, psychophysical and somatic practices as well as her research around energy body. Teaching includes Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Royal Academy of Music, English National Opera for Opera Works, Kingston University, East 15 Acting School, Oxford School of Drama, Bird College of Performing Arts, Cambridge University, HZT - University of the Arts of Berlin, Giles Foreman Acting Centre, JSBC Television China, Le Grand Conservatoire d'Avignon and FOCAL Switzerland. Her choreographic and collaborative works have been to venues in London, Ghent, Malmo, Dublin, Paris, Chur, Berlin and Reykjavik. Additionally, she has developed Artistic Development Coaching Programme, regularly coaches directors, actors, choreographers and filmmakers and delivers numerous workshops internationally.
