About Ana
MCSP, MHPC, BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, MSc (Dance
Science), PG Sport's Physiotherapy
Ana is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and
Health Professions Council. She graduated from Complutense
University of Madrid in 2003. Soon after she completed a Post
Graduate course in Sport's Physiotherapy and started to work
treating musicians and dancers at Arte y Medicina in Madrid. After
a number of years she moved to London, where she has worked in
private practices treating a mixed caseload of musculoskeletal
conditions in both general population and performing artists.
Whilst in London Ana has been based at The Practice Centre in
Notting Hill, and Performance Physio in Harley Street.
Ana is committed to furthering her professional development and
skills. Her training has ranged from somatic techniques (such as
Feldenkrais and Imagery), to Myofascial release, Cranio-sacral
therapy, Real Time Diagnostic Ultrasound, Women's Health, and
diverse courses in Movement Dysfunction. Furthermore, she regularly
attends conferences and seminars to keep updated.
Ana is a trained dancer, a member of IADMS (International
Association of Dance Medicine and Science) and has completed an MSc
in Dance Science at Laban. Additionally, Ana has been a regular
guest lecturer in Clinical Pilates at the Complutense University of
Madrid since 2006 and has recently been appointed to lecture in
Dancer's Health and Anatomy at the English National Ballet
School.
Ana loves working closely with patients to achieve their goal.
Ana practices on Tuesdays from 10.30h-18.30h and Thursday
from 10.30h-18.30h.
