About Tania Amorim

BSc (Physiotherapy), CMP, COMT, PG in Cranio-Mandibular /Cranio-Cervical dysfunctions and Facial Pain.

Tânia is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Health Professions Council. After qualifying as a physiotherapist in 2008 from Vale do Sousa Superior Scholl of Health, Portugal, Tânia worked in private practice, both in Portugal and Spain, treating several orthopaedic, musculoskeletical dysfunctions and sports injuries.

Further developing her knowledge in manual therapy and sports injuries, she obtained a Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy by Curtin University of Technology, Australia and completed a Post graduation in Cranio-Mandibular dysfunctions and Facial Pain from Andres Bello University, Chile. She continued to improve her skills and is now recognised by the Mulligan Concept Teacher Association (MCTA) as a Mulligan Practitioner. 

Tânia is constantly strives to improve her skills, doing extra training and attending to several lectures. She is a Pilates instructor and fully trained to assess motor control dysfunctions, she frequently incorporates Pilates exercises in her rehabilitation programs. Not only prone to work, she is also passionate for dance, movement, music and photography.  Being so, and conjugating this passion with her line of work, she developed an investigation with the contribution of dancers as part of her training as a physiotherapist, closely following scientific researches in dance and music science.

Clinic

Tania practices at Laban Health on Mondays from 09.00h-21.00h, Wednesdays 18.00h-21.00h and Sundays 10.00h-14.00h.

Prices

£45.00 for an initial appointment and £40.00 for follow-up appointments.
