Biography

Claire Iselin studied for both a BMus and a MMus in Performance, graduating in 2012 and winning the Gold Medal Award in 2013. She has performed as a soloist throughout Europe, China, Canada and made her debut at New York City's Carnegie Hall in 2014. She has performaned as a soloist with the Kantanti Chamber Orchestra, the Mercury Quartet, Sidcup Symphonic Orchestra and Billroth Ensemble amongst others, and is the principal harpist of The World Orchestra. As a freelance orchestral player, she has played with BBC Concert Orchestra, Manning Camerata, the Southbank Sinfonia and numerous others. Claire teaches students from all ages, has given masterclasses in France and was deputy teacher at Trinity Laban Junior Department for 6 years. She has won several awards and prizes including the IBLA Grand Prize International Music Competition Outstanding Musician, The City Music Foundation Award and the Worshipful Company of Musicians Silver Medal.
