Trinity Laban supported me to find my own voice in my piano playing. The staff are extremely helpful, the studying environment is warm and friendly. Gen Li
Biography
Gen Li completed a MMus, Artist Diploma and ISP in piano at Trinity Laban, graduating in 2016. He has appeared to high critical acclaim as a soloist at prestigious venues including Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, Grand Hall of Casa da Música in Portugal, Fazioli Concert Hall in Italy and Beijing Concert Hall. Gen has performed piano concertos with various orchestras such as the Portuguese Philharmonic Orchestra, London Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra and Eastbourne Symphony Orchestra. He has also won numerous competition prizes including first prize at the Jaques Samuel Piano Competition, Brant International Piano Competition, Trinity Laban Soloists’ Competition and Eastbourne Soloists' Competition, second prize at Santa Cecilia Piano Competition, Portugal, third prize and special prize at the Malta International Piano Competition and third Prize at Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition.
