My three years at Trinity Laban without question prepared and supported me for where I am today... Along with the fantastic teachers and facilities, it taught me how to approach movement and creativity with an open mind and to always question how to make it richer.

Biography

James Pett graduated in 2011 with a BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance. He was also awarded the Marion North Award for outstanding achievement in performance. Immediately after graduating, he joined the Richard Alston Dance Company, first as an apprentice and then as a company member. During this time, he performed at Dance Umbrella and worked with Robert Cohan on a revival of In Memory and The Bride and on the Bachelors exhibitions at the Barbican Centre. He also worked with Jeannie Steele on a collective of Cunningham's works. James joined Company Wayne McGregor in 2013.
