My time at Trinity Laban was a fantastic experience. My teacher, Anna Noakes was a huge support and inspiration to me, and has continued to be since I left. I met and collaborate with lots of fantastic composers and musicians, which set me up for a diverse and exciting career.

Biography

Jenni Hogan graduated in 2012 after completing a MMus (flute). Since graduating she has become highly in demand as a contemporary specialist, in solo and chamber music settings. She has performed on BBC Radio 3, Resonance FM, BBC1 and festivals including Darmstadt, SoundsNew, London Ear, Isle of Wight and Manchester Pride. She is a prolific chamber musician regularly playing with different ensembles, highlights include performing Decibels, FLAME, the South Iceland Chamber Choir and a duo performance with Anna Noakes. She is a founder member of Thumb who recently performed at The Forge and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra centre in a collaboration with the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group. Jenni performs with ANIMA, an ensemble focusing on music and animation and Adarna, a collective of musicians who commission and perform new music. Jenni also plays with various orchestras including, most recently, the New London Orchestra and the London Mahler Orchestra.

While at Trinity Laban, Jenni was supported by a Trinity College London Scholarship.
