Joss Arnott
Biography
Joss Arnott graduated in 2010 after completing a BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance and an MA Dance Performance (Transitions Dance Company). He has worked with choreographers including Tom Dale, Matthias Sperling, Cameron McMillan, Colin Poole and Yael Flexer. As a dancer, he has toured internationally and has taught at The Place, Trinity Laban and Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. He has produced many commissions including those for 2Faced Dance Youth and multiple CAT Schemes. He is also a Panelist and Focus Group artist for Sadler’s Wells - National Youth Dance Company. Joss is the Artistic Director of Joss Arnott Dance, whose athletic movement language has been described as ‘Masterful’ (Varsity, 2013) and ‘the perfect tonic for British Contemporary Dance’ (Londonist, 2010). The company have toured nationally and internationally for the past four years and have been supported and commissioned by leading dance agencies including Swindon Dance, Dance City, City Moves Festival and South East Dance.
MA Dance Performance
Experience being a member of a professional dance company, creating new work with three specially commissioned choreographers, and touring nationally and internationally in Transitions Dance Company.
